The curriculum of BNYS will train the students to understand the finer aspect about the concepts, theory and practice of drugless methods of healing along with the basic knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to preserve health ,prevent disease and care of the diseased . Recent developments in the field, encouragement for research, Seminars, Debates and workshops will also form an integral part of the curriculum. Students will be learning the art and practice of Natural medicine from highly qualified and experienced faculties who specialize in their respective areas .Their theoretic knowledge strengthened with hands on experience of treatment technique and equipments will add to the students abilities of problem-solving, functioning independently , and also as a team member for delivering integrated health care which will soon be the future of Health Care System.
The academic program is spanned over a period of 4 ½ years which includes three parts of 18 months duration of I, II and III, BNYS and 12 Months of Compulsory Residential Rotatory Internship [CRRI] at various hospital across the country identified for their speciality and approved by the authorities.

DEPARTMENT OF BIOCHEMISTRY | Biochemistry is the study of the chemical processes in living organisms. It deals with the structures and functions of cellular components such as proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids and other bio molecules. Biochemistry extensively describes aspects of cell metabolism and the endocrine. Other areas of biochemistry include the genetic code (DNA, RNA), protein synthesis, cell membrane transport, and signal transduction. DEPARTMENT OF ANATOMY | Anatomy is a branch of biology and medicine that is the consideration of the structure of living things. Human anatomy, including gross human anatomy and histology, is primarily the scientific study of the morphology of the adult human body. Here students learn gross anatomy and microscopic anatomy from anatomical models, skeletons, textbooks, diagrams, photographs, lectures and tutorials. The study of microscopic anatomy (or histology) can be aided by practical experience examining histological preparations (or slides) under a microscope; and in addition, medical students generally also learn gross anatomy with practical experience of dissection and inspection of cadavers (dead human bodies). Multi media enabled , comfortable seating well ventilated medium sized classrooms are available for BNYS students .The location and the ambience is conducive for learning. The VAK teaching method - visual, audio and kinesthetic methodology is interactive with up dated information and research on the subject is included by the teacher’s .Traditional teaching method like chanting are adopted for classical subjects like Yoga
There are separate hostels for ladies and gents within the same campus. The hostel rooms are comfortable four bedded, furnished with basic amenities Cot, bed, study table and wardrobes for individual students. The hostel has power backup in the form of generator .The entire campus also has solar power source as back up. The hostels also has power laundry services provided at a very nominal rates
The mess is attached to the hostel and has a seating for about 400 students at a time. The serves naturopathic food and the menu is programed for a week .The food items served includes items made from different millets which is a better source of nutrition.
The college authorities want every student in the campus to feel happy, stay active and healthy .The campus has playing and recreational areas offering everything from competitive team sports to fitness equipment’s and also plan to introduce individualized personal training, so you can be where you are and find your stride.
